Just Stroll-ing Along . . .

We haven't heard anything back on our offer yet - should hear something after noon today. Turns out after having no interest in the house the entire time it's been on the market (since September), they received another offer on it yesterday as well. With it being a Fannie Mae house and with dual offers, we only get to counter twice. Our second offer was the full price of the house ... but it's possible the other people offered the same thing, or even higher than asking price. As upsetting as it is, it's nice to know that if this really isn't the house, God has something even better for us. Also, my boss got me in touch with a good friend of his at a mortgage company and they are able to give us a way better deal than the lender we were planning on using ... so at least if we don't get this house, we'll have another pre-approval letter in our back pockets when we find something else.
